How Concrete Volume is Calculated

Concrete volume is calculated differently depending on the shape of your project. Here are the basic formulas:

Rectangular Slab

Volume = Length × Width × Thickness

Circular Slab

Volume = π × (Diameter ÷ 2)² × Thickness

Column (Square)

Volume = Width² × Height

Column (Round)

Volume = π × (Diameter ÷ 2)² × Height
